Pioneer Square Loft is a private condominium remodel in Seattle, Washington. The concept was to push all of the program to the exterior walls, in order to keep the space as open as possible. The client is intending to keep the apartment for the rest of his life, but to never live in it full time, and so it became necessary to design for his evolving interests and needs, as well as his temporal state of inhabitance.
California Avenue home was a remodel for a young professional in West Seattle. Due to her state as a first time home buyer, much of the furnishings were hand-me-downs from her grandmother. This traditional aesthetic was updated with modern finishes and a stark black canvas.

Barrio Viejo House was for a private client in Tucson, Arizona. The original structure is an adobe row house in downtown Tucson’s historic neighborhood of Barrio Viejo, and was built in the early 1900’s. The home had fallen into disrepair and was structurally unsound. The remodel looked to restore the original character of the home, and add modern design elements that would enhance it’s history and character.

The design concept took much inspiration from Dig Inn’s healthy food offerings and the beautiful colors associated with produce. The lightness of the palette went hand in hand with the clean and pure menu.
